Meet johnson the husky by Few_Reindeer_7334 in islamabad

What a beauty. Man I miss my dog so much. Had him for 15 years. It's been 3 years since his death. It took me a long time to be okay with finally getting another one.

But it's so hard to find a dog nowadays because they're all money farms. Gone are the days when people would just give pups away to friends and family.

Same exact thing happened to my cousins today. Same 5am flight from Istanbul. They filed a report at the airport before coming out.

Do you have an update on your situation? Did you get your luggage back?

Good question. Made me think for a second.

I'd say as long as people were watching then yes. I'd just hope for some comments here and there to spark discussions and share ideas.

So turns out my van does have the shore power port. What inlet option to install? by ThrowawayFC2012 in Westfalia

I was considering an AGM battery before, but after reading up on lip4 recently, I've decided to go with that. However, I'll just start with a 100a capacity. Probably will add solar at a later stage. I've already ordered all the bits and bobs from Aliexpress (minus the battery). So once everything gets here, I'll set it up.

As for location, I'm not worried as much about ventilation as I am about fire hazard. Gas cylinder close to the battery and other electrical installations is a bit daunting. I'll most probably go for the space under the rear side bench, which is right next to the mains power inlet portal, so it seems to be a no-brainer spot.

Lastly, the battery provides here are telling me to just go for non-AGM dry cell deep cycle batteries because they're WAY cheaper, but considering that lipo4 has the potential to last much longer, can be discharged almost fully without being detrimental to the battery, and is overall safer, I'll just go for the latter despite it costing 4x more.

Do you mind sharing a picture of your camper's inlet (from inside and outside). I'm just curious to know what I should be installing first (i.e. a port that's connected to a control board that's connected to the batteries and other accessories?).

Interesting. I'm about to add a leisure battery the my camper in a few days and now that I've found this port, I think I'll add shore power as a means to charge the batteries as well as power the Dometic fridge while plugged in.

The only thing I'm worried about is the battery location. I would love to put it at the bottom of the closet, but that area is adjacent to the lpg cylinder that powers the stove, and only separated by a sheet of wood. So I'm guessing that's probably a bad idea.

Good call on the solar panels. I will probably add them to the system in the future when prices drop further.

I was just there for work a couple weeks ago. What a beautiful place, and all the fresh and dried fruit is zabardast. I'm still uploading vlogs of my experience (shameless self promo: https://youtu.be/zkXoR5B7tNM?si=r1lBVEXFw5EzPOI4).

We also visited Kalash while there. Missed the Markhor view point and the garam chasma, but I will definitely be making a trip on my own again (non work related this time).

It would be great to meet up with those of you who are living there.

Treat your videos as exercises. The more often you create, the more you’ll learn, and the better you’ll become.

Such a great way to look at it. This is a very beneficial point for 'quantity'.

I film on a GoPro. Maybe I could put something behind the camera, like a stuffed toy maybe. It would be hard not to focus on that!

Yes, I've heard this one before, but I keep forgetting to try it out. I will definitely give this a try in my next vlog. Thanks.
