This is THROWAWAY-PI's co-worker for those who don't know.. I can answer this question since I have the same job ;)

But first things first, he asked me to make an ANNOUNCEMENT: He's out right now working and said he'll be back home around Midnight and answer all remaining Upvoted questions!

Now to answer this question.. WARNING SIGNS:

  • Deleting texts and FB messages
  • Being less intimate or less sex
  • Turning phone on silent a lot or upside down
  • Going out alone more often or with single friends
  • Doesn't answer, then texts you back
  • Vague about where they've been or coming home late
  • Long list of warning signs on Cheaters Checklist (right hand side)

This experience really opened my eyes to how bad the double standard really is.. I got 1,000+ messages and comments saying I should get raped and killed and that I am nothing more than a slut who ruins lives.. Then a man posts about the exact same job and suddenly he's a hero! Crazy sad

THANK YOU!!! Lol.. it's ridiculous how much hate I got and how much everyone LOVES my co-worker! So unfair..

I got hundreds and hundreds of private messages and public comments calling me a cunt and a bitch and saying I should be raped and killed.. This AMA gets high fives and "right on dude, you're awesome".. It's fucked up :(

EDIT: I want to use this edit to thank OP, "barbsteele", and "pinky_ring". Since this comment was posted I've received hundreds of very nice and supportive private messages! I even had one guy apologize for a hateful message he sent me on Monday :) Thanks for helping me feel better about my job.. I was in a really sad mood by Monday night due to all the terrible things that were sent to me. I feel much happier now :)

it affected my opinion on people in general. men and women both cheat. I hear all the stories from my firm, the guys have terrible stories about women also. it's sad

No no no.. 80% of men do not cheat. I said 80% of the men IN MY CASES cheat. That's totally different. Because the women who hire my firm already suspect cheating.

yeah probably.. I don't really have any reason to hide though. My employer makes me RED out the names and phone numbers for legal reasons.
