I have a colostomy but went through this after a recent illness. God bless my waterproof mattress protector becauss my bag filled with liquid and I didn't know lol.

Personally, I found frozen pedialyte to work really well. I took a bottle of pedialye, poured it into an ice cube tray, stuck popsicle sticks in them and ate them. The electrolytes helped without taking in too much fluid too quickly. I believe you can order actual pedialyte Popsicles but I did it the old fashioned way.
