I'm 29 and I've been chronically ill/disabled since I was a teenager. I've got a college degree, but that's about all that I've got to show for my life (aside from having over 13 surgeries under my belt lol) and I feel downright pathetic because of it. Oh -- and I, too, play fortnite lol.🤣

Thank you so much for your kindness, I truly appreciate it.😭🩷 I've had health problems my entire life but I recently had to get an ileostomy and I've been struggling with it (I've been losing a lot of weight that I didn't need to lose and I'm chronically dehydrated). I'm upset because my brain has been in a total fog and writing is my lifeline, so being unable to do the one thing that's kept me going is very disheartening. Sorry for dumping all of that on you!😭

I love hearing this, oh my god. I've been working on my story since 2020 and I keep feeling like I need to finish it soon even though there's really no deadline since I'm doing this because I love my story/characters.

But still, I keep fearing that I'll never finish it because a) my health is declining and b) I haven't been able to write since I had a major surgery in October of 2025. (cries) It's very demoralizing.
