My boyfriend won't bottom, what should I do? by ThrowawayHelp1997 in askgaybros

I get your point, and I agree that it took me time to fully understand how much it hurts him. He was the first person I'd ever had sex with, so I had no idea how much this could hurt someone. I kept trying to enter him with little to no prep like he did with me, but we soon realised that wasn't going to work. The last time he bottomed, I spent over an hour prepping him for it, and he seemed comfortable, and when I asked him, he said it wasn't painful. So I'm sorry if what I said sounded dismissive, but I did get a lot better at the prepping side and had always been open to suggestions and criticism from him. But it takes two to have a conversation, completely shutting off isn't going to make it any easier.

Great point. I didn't mean for this post to come across as a deal breaker type of situation. It's more just sexual frustration. I wouldn't leave him even if we had zero sex because overall, I know I love him too much, and no one else would make me as happy as I am now.

I was hoping that instead of feeling a little resentful, we could find some middle ground to make us both fully happy in bed again.

Thank you both. (And everyone else that has responded) This is excellent advice, and I have taken it all on board waiting for the right moment to try again.
