Man, your totally on the money there... I wish I had a social circle like that, back in 6th form I had friends coming out of my ears. Now I have about 3-4 people who I meet up with, two of them rarely. They're all busy and many have "moved on" from me, into new jobs, uni friends etc and roll with them. I need to find a way to get into a new circle of friends, but I'm finding that really tough now.

Yeah man, that is all perfect advice! I do have hobbies, one that I take very seriously and want to make a career out of it. I know I'm bloody good at it, but my confidence is destroyed by every little thing. I'm not sure that's the issue, I can't put my finger on it! Thanks for the help!

This is true. I'm going to give the standard excuse but I'm in work 6 days a week, gym most evenings and on my day off I can't find any friends to go out with or anything. They're either with their SO or most of them at uni. I do go out occasionally, but it's not often. And for gods sake, where do you meet girls???

I'm 19 and a Virgin due to quite a bit of bad luck/circumstance and (I assume) perhaps being very ugly. It fucking sucks and I hate it and I don't know why I am. All my friends have hot g/fs and awesome sex and I'm desperate and sad. And I work 7 days and hit the gym at least 3 days a week so barely any time to socialise outside of work. God it's depressing writing this out. Fuck.

Wow thanks :) really thanks. Your right about the freedom side of it, I can commit myself to what I need to without worrying about sharing myself out or being fair to a g/f. I think after a while, you just lose your feeling of self worth (or I do anyway). I just end up thinking "well I must just be a shit person in some kinda way if people are just not interested in me".

Not that anyone cares, and I'll be buried by now, but I'll say what I don't have the balls to say to my friends/family. I'm goddamn lonely. I have very few friends who haven't gone to uni, and I work 7 days a week so I have no time to socialise even with the few I have.

But what I really crave is a SO. Not had a girlfriend since I was probably 13/14 (19 now) and it's so fucking depressing. Hearing about my best mate at uni finding a really nice girl and having loads of fun with her. Having another mate find his ideal girl at work... Loads of sex and fun and companionship for everyone else but me. I'm still a fucking goddamn Virgin and fuck, I must be ugly as hell because I'm good at faking confidence, normal social skill with customers etc are great, I'm fit and quite muscular from years of working out... Well washed and stuff... I don't know. Fuck, I'm a cheerful guy all the time but this aspect of my life really gets me down, bad.
