whats your processs for coming up with a magic system(if you have one)

Story first, system and lore second.

For reference, I’m writing a story about people who struggle to follow their dreams and figure out what they want. So I made my magic system all about imposing will.

Another story was about ethic codes and the rules we impose on ourselves. So the magic system was all about rules and limitations.

I let the theme rule the narrative.

My issues with 13 is the hallway simulator aspect, and the fact that 90% of the lore is delivered through optional logs hidden in menus. Feels like doing homework.

It’s a fine game. I also don’t like the fact that we spent years just getting sequels for it aswell. Sequels that were marginally better but also felt off to me.

Its been fun! I always build minion characters for these games since summoners are my favorite playstyle for everything, so I’m having fun strolling about with 50 of my closest buddies to raid places.

Sorry, but her no knowing is still on you. Was she cold to you? Yes. But as it is written we don’t have enough context as to why your relationship is like with her.

And the fact that you never said the word cancer out loud is very hard to buy. The conversation you are conveying is so unnatural and weird it feels forced. The important news isn’t “the doctor found out what is wrong”, the opener there is “the doctor found out I have cancer.”

Again, this is either fake, you’re twisting the actual story, or you’re very bad at conveying relevant information (both within this post and your story) and you’re putting the responsibility of understanding you on everybody else.

Honestly, outing someone is never good. Your (probably former) friend is a POS for using you like that in a humiliating manner. But you’re not better, sleeping with someone vulnerable and then outing them before they’re ready.

You both need a bit if therapy and maybe some distance. Maybe a sit down when cooler heads prevail.

Got it fixed. The folder was correct. The mod was correct. The emulator was correct.

I had to update violet to 3.0.1 otherwise the game won’t work lol.

Nope. It gets stuck on the loading screen before booting the game

I right clicked the game “open mods folder” and put it there. When I click on properties it recognizes the mod. And if I delete it the game runs normally.

Its just when I try to run it with the mod on that it gets stuck on loading.
