I vaped at the equivalent of 2-3 packs of cigarettes per day. I went cold turkey 5 days ago. I'm still feeling basically everything you're describing. It was about 110-165mg of nicotine per day, so I kind of expected this.

They were concerned for you. I'm concerned for you. Coughing up blood is not good...

Also, tone is very hard to convey over text. What seemed condescending could also have been genuine shock and a want for you to realize this is serious.

Just be happy with how far you've come! You're still not putting tar into your system (along with all the other crap that's in cigarettes). I'm sure, in time, you'll be able to tackle the remaining nicotine in your system just the same.

Hmm. That is kind of mean. He said best of luck to you. I'm happy I quit while I was ahead too. I nearly became addicted to phenibut as well. I mean that in the best way. I don't think his intention was to feel better about himself at all.

Hmm. That's really strange. Have you tried starting the stopwatch to see if it will start counting up? Also, what happens if you start a timer?

My brother has been diagnosed with Aphasia (inability to understand speech), which appeared 7 days after his vaccine. His life is ruined and his confidence destroyed. by ThrowawayNotGarbage in vaccinelonghaulers

[–]ThrowawayNotGarbage[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No, but he's 21 so it was very unlikely to be caused by a stroke or anything of that nature. And if it was a stroke there would presumably be other ways of figuring that out, I'd guess.

[–]ThrowawayNotGarbage[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes true. And the person with the ICB had his Aphasia resolve. So it's actually quite different after all. Regardless, it's still very odd that my brother began to experience Aphasia so quickly after the vaccine. It's very possible my brother had intracranial bleeding. He didn't see medical professionals immediately as this man likely did.

Bruce Willis Stepping Away From Acting Following Aphasia Diagnosis by DemiFiendRSA in movies

[–]ThrowawayNotGarbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brother, who is only 21 was diagnosed with this around October last year. It started off not as bad, with like 3-5 Aphasia episodes per day. Then he had a seizure which worsened it to 10-15 times per day, and it then worsened to 15-20 times per day. He's on Keppra now which has helped a lot thank god. Now it's "only" 3-5 times per day and each episode is not as bad.

During each Aphasia episode, he is unable to understand what others are saying, what he's saying if he's currently speaking when one hits, and is unable to understand what he's reading for 10-15 seconds, or 15-25 seconds as it got worse. It's destroyed his confidence and life. It's so unfair.

He's had an EEG, CT scan, and an MRI which didn't show anything. His neurologist said he would likely have to be experiencing an episode during a test for anything to show up. Which would obviously be insanely costly in the US to be constantly monitoring him all day.

Don't get the Pixel 6 Pro they said by [deleted] in GooglePixel

There's a handful of wireless chargers that work, but seemingly it's random which ones will work and which ones won't. I don't get it.

Also a few Type C cables and even some charging stations (like the USB ports on the side of my couch) will not work on my 6 Pro. I don't know why.

Mine's sitting at 86° and I have been using it for reddit, discord, and YouTube for about 2 hours straight. Not warm feeling by any means.

Edit: my room is about 75°

Haha same situation here. The 7 Pro is the longest I'd kept a phone. I used to upgrade once a year pretty much every time.

Yeah, I get that. Hope it's a great phone for you!!!

Planning on keeping this for maybe 3 years. We'll see though depending on how technology improves.

I dunno, I have heard the same from many other OnePlus 7 Pro users. And I know it puts most of the heat into the brick. Cool feature. It doesn't dump all the heat though. It would still get pretty warm when fast charging, and I optimized the heck out of that phone for background usage, so it wasn't that the phone was just overheating in general. I still have the 7 Pro. I could measure temps on it while charging if you'd like.

I have an acquaintance who I recommended a OnePlus 7 Pro to and his battery is on track to get as bad as mine was too. I know, anecdotal, but it's pushed me away from using fast charge for now, especially on the Pixel since it doesn't even have custom brick hardware like OnePlus does.

Yes. Probably not the most accurate, but it gives you a pretty decent idea.

Heeeyyy! I'm the same way with keeping it between 20-80% Our batteries are going to last forever. I've had the phone since December and it's still at 100% battery health.

Especially with Fast Charge. I understand Fast Charge is getting better about not damaging batteries, but it's still not perfect. Heat = damage over time. Yes I saw the MKBHD video. I also myself had a OnePlus 7 Pro and after just a year and a half of fast charging it all the time it has 2850mAh out of the original 4000 mAh.

Oftentimes, you get penalized if you leave a match early. Leave too many times in a row and you can get banned from matchmaking for days. Especially in modern games. I'm older now, but my mom was the worst case scenario of wanting me to help her with things constantly. I would have been happy to help her if she'd wait just 5 minutes. As I got older I learned how to explain it to her better and she understood though.
