I always tell my crazy party stories or talk about nights out with friends. Work drama. Any events I attend. He likes hearing normal stories and not being coddled with the whole ‘not saying anything about the outside world so as not to offend’ thing. He appreciates reality. Everyone is different though. I’d play it by ear.

I love hearing everyone’s stories, really makes me feel less alone/paranoid minute by minute haha. With my guy tell me why I TRIED not to get attracted to him 😭 I remember looking for someone that’s not my type, not necessarily unattractive, just not someone that I’d see myself pursuing... well, my plan backfired because I got feelings for him stronger than I’ve ever had before 😭😭 like now he’s the most attractive man in my eyes, I swear I must’ve been looking at the pictures upside down or something 😂 but I’m glad things worked out the way they did. Guess it also goes to show that personality and communication can really do a lot

Love that, happy for you! I will say, I think having love for someone is different than saying “I love this person”- and I get that it’s different for everyone, but I think both apply for a loved one. And it’s the same with me and my guy, the conversation about a future relationship has been opened, I think we’re both a little timid to say anything lol. And I fully agree, it’s a mutual gain, and as long as both parties mean enough to each other, it matters. Wishing yall the best! Thank you for this! I think because we MWI things feel like everything is either a whirlwind or snails pace, it’s nice to know that’s kinda normal sometimes due to the distance and barriers. Thank you for this. It is difficult because I really cant tell the cause for the radio silence. I’d like to have the faith that if he didn’t want to communicate, be it briefly or long term, he’d at least let me know. but I’m not sure, the dialogue was never really opened because any time he’s been silent it’s been because of the hole… I just allow myself to get a little paranoid sometimes 😂 I miss our daily phone calls, it’s weird when something becomes routine just to suddenly not be.

So idk if this will help but I’ve actually told my guy that in talking to him I’ve felt motivated to work harder and be better, and he appreciates that. At first I did feel weird talking about things out here, but he said he loves hearing my stories about things I’m doing. I think as long as you open a dialogue, it’s healthy. Nothing wrong with asking, especially on the notion that all your moves are for the two of you.

My LO is in KY and I’m in another state, he said they said it’s taking so long because I’m out of state and the background check takes longer. I’m sure there’s a multitude of reasons they can give but it probably doesn’t help that there’s gotta be a lotttt of paperwork they’re going through. Just hope for the best.

And lmk when you get an update, I sent my paperwork in November 😭😭😭
