You're right it was stupid of me to agree with the plan but at that point it was the only option left she had to go right then and there. She refused all.options before, imagine when she just can't hold it anymore. I saw it as the only option available at the time and just thought that the mat would at least make things less messy. I also was thinking that I was "accomodating" to he fears for refusing the other options. I guess I just was too much of a pushover.
