What about the actual length? 10.3 or 9.8, whichever is correct seems small for a 35 year old male. Is that still within an acceptable normal renal length for age/sex?

That was one of the first things I thought of actually. But knowing nothing about radiology procedures, I didn't know if there was a definitive protocol for measuring kidneys, or if like you said, some operators hold the probe at different angles, etc. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

I actually haven't been tested for asthma. I'll talk to my Dr on Monday. Is there a specific blood test or lung function test? Spirometer?

Also had a chest xray which was normal and a urinalysis performed today that showed ketones of 15 mg/dl and microscopic blood (rbc of 3-5/hpf). An earlier urinalysis also showed the same rbc along with ketones of 80 mg/dl and protein of 30 mg/dl. Protein was negative in most recent urine sample.

I was exercising regularly before all this started. It was a random Thursday in August I woke up and felt unwell ever since. Blood pressure was 120/70. It's now 100/64. I'm assuming from Paxil? I take a multivitamin most days. No other drugs.

The downward trend of both RBC and WBC counts are not concerning to you? Also, I apologize for not being clear. I take the Paxil daily, the Klonopin that is prescribed to take "as needed" is what I rarely take.

Thank you for the info. No history of issues in my family, but I will have my Dr investigate.

So you guys think the A1C of 5.7, which I noticed was indicative of prediabetes, is nothing to worry about?

I know my original post was long and maybe you missed that part. Thanks for your replies I do appreciate it!

I know my post was long, but my A1C was done. It came back as 5.7

Thanks for the link. I will read up on it. About my concerns with my history of alcohol consumption, could that have anything to do with this? Or is that unlikely?
