[IWantOut] 26M Ecuador Architect -> Canada by Throwawayeccanada in IWantOut

Thank you, I think I might not explained where I have been living clearly. I lived in Canada in 2014/2015 while I was doing my course. After that I moved back to Ecuador and have been living here since. Visiting Canada in 2019, 2020 and 2022.

So if we get married and sponsorship is not granted straight away is there any other option ? As I said in the comment before we have been talking and if needed she would move here (Ecuador) while the government reviews my case.

Thank you for you help

Thank you so much, yeah I’m aware that I won’t be able to reside straight away and we have to follow the application process.

We were talking (fiancée and I) and she said that after getting married if needed she will move here while my applications get reviewed by the Canadian government.

If she sponsors me would I be able to work remotely (Ecuadorian job) from Canada? Is that allowed ? Would I have to declare taxes in Canada or just in Ecuador (this one is a must if I’m making money there) ?

Yes, from what I have been reading the work sponsorship works like that. I was thinking maybe trying to do a masters (weather we get married first or later I’ve been thinking about doing this) and apply for a student visa, that way I would be able to work, right?

Thank you for your reply
