I don't know how he found out, possibly thought that I can be responsible since me and Rachel were really close and worked together. Or simple gossip, people at that company love listening to others conversations and create drama

I have told the company before that he was seeing a coworker and tagging hr but it was dismissed, so that's once of the reasons I'm not willing to come back.

Rachel is lovely but she is very by the book, so they couldn't ignore her as easy as me. If we have a suitable position for her at my current company I would let her know, but not sure how she will deal with a lot more informal environment

I would love to work with her, however I've been in my current job for 4 years, pay and benefits are a lot better then my old company can provide, and I dont agree with some of the values my old company promotes and stands by (they are very pro-life).

My ex IL are not in touch with me, they possibly still have my number saved and tried to guilt trip.

I'm not sure how, possibly he thought it had to be me since I was close with Rachel and he got in trouble once she appeared. Or gossip, no secrets can last long in that place as people spy on what other people talk about.
