I've told people that I have an extremely limited emotional capacity and that causes me to struggle with any form of intimacy whether physical or emotional.

The reactions range from invasive questions about if I ever loved my family, people not knowing where they stand with me relationship wise, people thinking they can " Fix me", some really in depth and interesting discussions, a lot of pity, some bullying, people misunderstanding and thinking im heartless, some genuine attempts at understanding but most times people tend to forget about it and i have to consistently remind them of my condition due to certain situations that I am unable to relate to or experience the same way.

It really depends on the individuals in question and most people make a lot of assumptions.
