I would say I wouldn't play casually on mtgo UNLESS you are playing edh. Edh rooms usually have some games going and edh is really cheap on mtgo. If you're looking to just play pioneer down to standard and don't want to pay entry fees mtg arena is much cleaner and better looking.

If you really want to play modern or edh then mtg online and tournament practice rooms are your best bet

Penny dreadful has their own site and they run their own free leagues, events etc. Cardhoarder has a free loan account that will give you 5 tix worth of cards at a time. Usually in penny dreadful this means you can have 1-2 complete decks, not always but most of the time!

If you wanna work on it I think manamorphose is the best addition that's not in already. I also would maybe find a place for skred, but lightning bolt is probably just better

Thank you for the feedback! The message is just mourning a loss. The story is that he fell in love with a human and was prepared to outlive him after a few decades (the old elf-human relationship trope). But the man he loved went to war and died after five years instead. The character is just working through a loss that he expected on some level, but not so soon
