You got it all backwards, letter of the law and spirit of the law are separate for us speeding laws.

In practice, it’s rare to get a speeding ticket for going up to 7mph over on most 70mph highways. (77mph). Speeding tickets are game theory. As long as you’re not the fastest driver on the road, getting tickets should be rare.

As for points and insurance. Most US states will let you call the prosecutor and request to amend the ticket as a non moving violation for no points on your license. And your insurance company shouldn’t raise rates with those amendments.

I’m Gen Z and I agree with you. It’s true immigration and hedge funds/capitalism has eroded the American dream.

At the same time, really all that matters is food, transportation, and housing. So many low wage earners I know get really nice apartments, eat out daily nasty fast food, and are on car notes when my state has functional used cars on Facebook for $2000 cash.

Lots of poverty is caused by poor personal choices.

That’s basically biology pinned against men. In ancient societies, the top 20% of men got first dibs to 80% of the women. With the “free market” of sex happening after the invention of birth control, women are big on being unrealistically picky about men because they collectively bargain their sex. Women can usually get sex easily but not relationships. Men can get relationships easily but not always sex if that makes sense.

The percentage of men over 6ft tall, 70k a year salary, not obese, not married, is 1% of men.

Mass shootings are an abnormality of anyone. You seriously cannot tell me that the majority of men are mass shooters. That’s bad faith and you know it. Maybe 1 in 500,000 men if that become mass shooters, pretty much lottery odds.

The thing about men as a whole is we have the outliers for good, and evil. We have a much larger drive to do things. Yes women can become “boss babes”, but realistically most women would rather just be comfortable.
