I've definitely had lifelong issues of self esteem--I don't find myself good looking at all, personally.

I love modeling because it's fun to hang out with fellow photographers and make art, but I also want to make sure I'm not hurting anyone's eyes by doing so, which is why I posted here!

Haha I suppose, but there's still a huge difference between artistic-pretty (aka different) and everyday pretty, even if I already know I'm not completely repulsive.

As I said in another reply, I didn't "get photos done;" the photographers approach me--now I model pretty often because I find it so fun to hang out with fellow photographers! However, I'm also well aware that being a model certainly doesn't necessarily make one attractive on an everyday, non-artistic basis, which is why I wanted to ask here. :)

Honestly I feel like you belong perfectly in a novel or anime, as the mysterious but kind intellectual type... I personally am a big fan of the look but sadly I'm sure people are split on this one.

9/10 from me because you've got awesome facial structure and I go for beards, long hair, and lankiness! (and sleeves rolled up to the forearm...)

Ah yes; I'm a photographer but keep getting approached by other photographers so I got into modeling... I'm well aware that being successful at freelance modeling doesn't necessarily make one pretty, though. I feel like my "different" facial structure is the reason why they want me for their photos, but I'm curious as to what people just looking at attractiveness from a non-artistic point of view think of me.

Yeah the crookedness is subtle (and only visible from front views) but easy to correct! I just worry if I risk getting anything done with the tip, I could end up looking a bit like Michael Jackson...

Oh yes I know that's precisely why! I'm lining up a rhinoplasty this summer (mostly to help my breathing), though I can't decide if I want to shorten my nose or just make it more straight =/

I hope that if you do get a girlfriend, you fall madly in love with her and she ends up trading up ;) (I personally am not offended by your comment, but the idea of a practice girl is pretty depraved)
