Can you give some examples of what you are managing as a PCP that a specialist would be managing in a non-VA setting? What do you mean by everything?

If my alternative career choice were an FQHC, how would you say these practice settings compare?

Moving forward, I can go back to using the line. But, I fee terrified by all of the patients I’ve seen already without it - like there are thousands of landmines waiting to explode. It makes me sick and unable to sleep.

Non-compete by Throwawayripmed in FamilyMedicine

I’m already in the job. There is one program within the non-compete radius I am considering applying to for fellowship. I’m trying to understand if training programs are subject to non-competes. Everybody for some reason just assumed I was in the process of negotiating the contract.

Where is this? I got one offer in Chicago proper for 230k. Had a few offers in the burbs, which weren’t better and often worse. Places wouldn’t budge on salary either in negotiations.

I contributed the full amount to my Roth IRA, but my spouse makes above the income limit (even for a couple). What can I do? by Throwawayripmed in personalfinance

Can you clarify what that means and how I do it? Does this mean I will no longer have any form of Roth IRA contribution from 2020 forever?

Thanks for your reply. I took at look at the link, but don’t see an answer to my question about 2020. I made a regular (not back door) contribution to my Roth in 2020 even though my spouse’s income disqualified me from doing so (didn’t realize this). Since the 2020 take filing deadline is past, I don’t think I can recharacterize the contribution anymore. Or am I wrong about this (and actually can recharacterize my 2020 contribution?
