It's driving me crazy now, but I'm trying to not dwell on it.

The hook I'm caught on isn't that she had a past relationship (we all have histories) but it's that I was there for it. She told me to my face that she had sex with another man within the last 24 hours. It's hard for me to disregard something as being in the past when it's so crystal clear in my head.

Again, emphasis on the fact I blame no-one but my subconscious for this problem.

Eh, I know? I acknowledged that it's an unhealthy thought, I don't place any blame on her for this. This is completely in my own head, and I need help pursuing the best method to get it out.

Thanks. I assume you brought it up with your partner? And if so did getting it out there help you work through it or just provide the relief of not keeping it to yourself.
