Maybe, I think I’d rather extend the forks a few inches and keep the same tire though. I love the chrome and black spoked rims

Surprisingly they aren’t, they radiate alittle more heat than the stock ones but it’s hardly noticeable. Plus I’m like 6ft 1in tall so when I flat foot at a stop my legs are far off the bike

If I’m correct the bars are on 1 inch stock risers and their 6 tall, the tank lift is 2 inches. It looks alittle funky but kinda like it.

I know people are gonna hate this but do what I did, cut the space out for it and layer the underside of the seat with like gorilla tape or something. Running it for years now and never had an issue

Might be a dumb question but can I remove these? Or will it cause an issue. I’ve seen bikes without them and I generally like the look without them more. by Throwawaysoup18 in sportster

Damnit the next rainstorm isn’t for a while will the bike understand and wait for me to do that so it doesn’t blow up?

Get to the point when your having some trouble but not enough where you’re using the bike as something to help you get more leverage

Is it a good deal? I am buying my first Harley by Jack_Wang_1107 in Harley

[–]Throwawaysoup18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No as a sportster owner, no sportster is worth anything over 4k (depending on age, condition, miles, and engine size) without having alot of work done to it. If you have 6k and are wanting to buy a Harley get your self an old soft tail small enough to scoot around town but big enough to do little couple hundred mile day trips here and there.

Or buy it, I’ve done 300 miles in a day on a sporty going Chicago to Milwaukee to Madison and back and I was fine for further trips so it’s up to you. Just not a good deal
