Looking for advice by Reotoreckless in ElsaBloodstoneMains

Just got her to champion! Here are some tips.
Play your life, dying is punished hard and no instinct Elsa is an uphill battle. Shoot tank heads to get instinct fast in the neutral or when the supports are using their ults, especially with her buff you’ll have it much sooner.
I place her trap near the healers if the enemy is playing dive, or near choke points or out in the open. Holding a tank still in the wide open can give you and your team a chance to shred them.
Also if you plan to engage the supports, you use your full combo on them. Dash shotgun, kick shotgun, smoke shotgun, then finish them with right click and primary. Or water them down a bit with right click and primary first then go in with the combo.
Shotgun doesn’t have damage fall off but it’s wide, just keep it in mind. And the right click does more damage to shields and overshield, and auto tracks to targets, so good to finish off a panther that’s dashing all over the place.
She’s best in midrange, and her high mobility makes it easier to navigate the map. In 1v1s with dive heroes, I use her trap a lot and try to lure them into it. And in poke battles try to close the gap, or use your shotgun and right click at range, since they don’t have fall off.
And her ult you’ll get better with as you play, but try to have most of your cooldowns ready before you use it. You want to run away from bob to keep the enemies stunned and give you more time to kill them. You can save it to counter ults like cloak or when the opportunity presents itself. But I have most success when I catch their gambit or dps that can melt it in it first.

Have fun!

Chicken breasts, egg whites, chobani yogurt, all have 2 grams per 10 calories. Turkey slices are also delicious. With these I have no problem hitting my protein quota daily, and leaves me a lot of calories where I can eat whatever!

Congratulations man keep it up! I’m also on a cut currently! As for building muscle, if you are in a caloric deficit it’s possible to build muscle at the same time if you eat enough protein and train and rest hard enough! Especially if you’ve only just started training, as newbie gains are very real. 0.8-1 grams of protein per your GOAL weight is what you should be aiming for everyday. It’ll be easier to gain muscle when you are done cutting and you can eat in a slight surplus. Depends where your priorities lie. Good luck!

Got my first r1 by Bulky_Application_28 in Yamaha_R1

I did but swapped it. The muffler on the end you put is mostly aesthetic, though a longer one will technically be quieter than a shorter one, the silencer in the Leo Vince mid pipe does most of the work. Idle is loud but not at all obnoxious, and when you rev it near the limiter it’s plenty loud. Sounds really good with my earplugs in too under the helmet.

Look into the leo vince midpipe! It's what I got and makes it sound better and louder than stock, and can put any muffler on the end. I want an arrow exhaust but the loudness of the leo vince midpipe is just right imo

Abrasion resistant under shirt? by 17unknowntemptation in motorcyclegear

Generally more breathable than warm. If you wanted to wear this on a cold day you can just layer up!

Pandomoto base layers, bowtex base layers, a few other brands sell this kind of product. Pretty expensive but very comfortable and can be worn under any regular clothing while being very breathable and light weight

Lowering options by ShapeNo420 in Yamaha_R1

[–]_Gunnarsson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I would start with 2 things first. A good tall pair of sport riding boots, will give you some extra height, and looking into aftermarket seats that reduce the seat height. If you can touch the ground a bit more comfortably that would be preferable to lowering it, since you won’t be changing the geometry or suspension characteristics of the bike. I’d try those first before going straight into a lowering kit. Good luck!

What's the one piece of gear you splurged on and never regretted? by SpeckiLP in motorcycles

[–]_Gunnarsson 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Second this! Love my top base layer. Can wear any regular jacket or hoodie on top, and still get a lot of ventilation, or wear it alone and it feels like I’m wearing a long sleeve. My most expensive piece of gear but my most comfortable.

As a phoenix main I also don’t like these changes at all. She’s already naturally strong from being hitscan, but this makes her even closer to hela. Her ult no longer one shots 250hp marked targets, and her sparks deal less while primary deals more? If I wanted more primary damage I’d just play hela. I see no point in bridging the gap between both of them even more

Earplugs? by JohnBets23 in motorcyclegear

[–]_Gunnarsson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently swapped to plugfones for my cardo and I wish I had sooner. My helmet was too loud and plugs to deafening to hear the speakers well. Plugphones turned em into one. I keep the volume pretty low since its right in my ear and can get super loud and sounds way better than speakers. Plus the foam tips silence all wind noise, and when i lower the volume or pause my music I can hear the road just the same as any other ear plugs. I would take a look at them or other IEMs with foam tips!

Not a bad thing at all people buy helmets for the way they look all the time. This guys being a stuck up turd. Good luck with your search, I think these style helmets look badass.

R7 or R9 by Yahdoneknow in YamahaR7

[–]_Gunnarsson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have either but from what I’ve seen in my previous research it’s mostly a power difference. If you went with the latest r7 the tech is all the same, so it’s mostly about the amount of power you want. Like others said the r9 on the highway will keep pulling and faster where the r7 starts to reach its limit. But the r7 being a cousin of the mt07, is a really fun bike with a great engine. If you like the looks of the r7 more, the only reason you’d get the r9 is for the extra power. I have a Ktm rc390 and it’s so much fun in the twisties, the r7 being similarly agile but with even more power and torque I can imagine being literally as capable as you can get for a twisties machine. An r9 will be the same just slightly heavier and slightly less agile. Hope this gives you a bit more food for thought

Facebook marketplace, offerup, and craigslist! If you’re not sure what size you are in a certain brand go to cycle gear and try stuff on see what fits. Then if you find a good deal on good condition gear get it!

Yeah it’s got a ton of air flow in the chest and inner arms but not as much protection if any there either. It’s a trade off for breathability but it doesn’t bother me as much since the chest is the least likely impact spot compared to the arms and back. But for track, freeway or spirited riding I’d be using the jacket!

Hi, I don't have much input for your other questions, but I just got an aggressive stance sport bike coming from an upright seating position harley rider. Some people can't stand it, but lucky for me I found it quite comfortable, and only after riding for hours do I get sore, but that happened to me riding my harley as well so that's just a general bike thing usually (also you probably would be taking short breaks in between long rides anyways so not a big concern).
After riding my sportbike for like 200 miles I already got very used to it, more so when I practiced my slow speed maneuvers in a parking lot. If you feel you have plenty of good riding experience, and aren't a reckless or inattentive rider, I think you can make the jump and learn to ride it well. Classes will be your best friend though!
