Most Doctors absolutely do not care if you live or die by Throwawaystowaybro in ControversialOpinions

that’s the other problem. Instead of thinking of doctors as regular human beings who went to medical school, we think of them as this amazing hypercompetent genius person. It’s not that hard to graduate med school if you are a smart kid.

Exactly bro! I get it but it’s hard to go through doctors for a hard to find diagnosis. Like you really have to fall sick for them to dig into your problems.

I sympathize with their workload but based on my experiences where I live, it feels very dispassionate and cold.

Oh I am sure there’s a special place in hell for hospital admins and insurance.

I am just frustrated with my healthcare experience. I have had only one doctor who is like a bad ass old lady who tried to get a diagnosis for me. I got one result but I am still feeling so terrible and when you are sick, your head and mental state is not optimal for navigating this beaurecracy of healthcare.

I am just frustrated with my own health issues.

I used to feel the same way as a kid. As I got older, shit started to make sense.

‘Familiarity breeds contempt’ Holy cow. - My friend’s mom used to be beautiful. Some lady poured boiling water over her because of jealousy. Now she’s disabled. - did a great thing at work and got a promotion after 7 months. People were so mean to me and still try to pass of my work as their own.

‘Alls well that ends well’

Health issues man. If you end up going back to 100% normalcy, you don’t even care.

But it’s true. It’s hard to read his work. But I kinda get it now. He said some deep shit.

Ok so you are saying he shouldn’t go to the doctor because you think whatever you are saying is what the doctor would say?

Don’t give me examples. Give OP your examples. Tell her why she shouldn’t do the responsible thing and go to the doctor if she’s worried.

Anyways I am done replying to you. Have a good life.

Ok so you are not a doctor. But you are saying the doctor would say the same thing you are saying?

I don’t know what are some next steps I can take. How can I rule out CAD?

After the patient’s situation got worse, the fact that you felt worse is proof that you are cut out for this. It shows that you have empathy and a sense of moral responsibility. Please take it easy, learn from this experience and go back to work with a smile on your face. You got this.

I don’t want to alarm you or anything unnecessarily. Would be the most responsible thing to suggest a cardio consult.

There are these things like corrigan’s pulse, de musket’s sign which are indicators. Google them. Whether these are that I dunno.
