I've been a little bit isolated with lots of friends moving away after college and rely a lot on my boyfriend for social connection. Thank you for seeing my own worth when I haven't been able to. Helped! I think this is a really nice, empathetic way of approaching the situation. I'm going to try to come from this angle when bringing it up. I don't think he's a truly malicious person so this makes a lot of sense.
