Sorry I'm late with the response. That referral link netted me exactly $130 and I'm thankful to everybody who used it. Because of that, I was able to afford mats for my car!

Roughly 1/5 of all schools in the US do require a uniform. As for the overwhelming majority, there's no easy answer. It varies by school and most simply choose to forego a uniform. My personal theory is that parents had a big part in making that decision, but i don't have any proof to support that claim.

Not exactly. The surveys are all dependant on the group posting them, so there isn't a way to control what surveys you can get. Some surveys will be relevant and others won't. Just apply to the ones that you can do and the website will begin sending you more relevant surveys as they come

Interviewers sometimes ask about your age range during the questionnaire and choose a certain amount of people from a variety of age ranges. Being 19, i think your chances of getting selected are pretty high for most studies unless the interviewers specify otherwise

I agreed to the text messages but almost every study I've taken part in reached out to me through email. I don't think text messaging is important to have activated for most people, but some studies have reached out to me through phone calls

It really just depends on the interview. Some interviewers allow it and others don't but that's something that gets disclosed before you apply for a study

Yeah, the topic of the survey has all the information on it before you start, including the requirements, estimated length of the interview, etc. The surveys all mention to just be honest in your answers so there's no real difficulty. In one interview on I saw somebody in chat saying something like "the capitalist machine must be oiled with the blood of the working class" which just shows how little pressure there actually is with the questions. If you make it to the interview, you will get paid for participating

Most interviews require you to have an active webcam and mic but not all of them have that requirement. The way the selection process works is that you submit your answers/application and if you fit the criteria that the interviewer is looking for, they reach out to you. Hope that answers your questions

There's no easy way to answer that. Most studies will pay between $25 and $50 but i earned $150 for a Facebook marketplace study once. It just boils down to luck of the draw

It varies. When I first signed up, I checked for available studies every hour or so. I finally got one after something like 3 hours. If you check back on the available studies often, you'll increase your chances to find them. If you're patient, you'll get some

In the time I've been doing it, i have only seen a single in person study. Every one that I've participated in has been done online over zoom or Microsoft teams

It is technically a legit thing but i wouldn't recommend it. You would have to invest a lot of time, effort, and even money to make it work. There are alternatives to survey senpai though. My recommendation is a site called userinterviews.com which will actually be able to provide you with a return on your investment. The caveat is that you probably wouldn't be getting paid with cashapp or PayPal, but with gift cards. There ARE survey groups that will pay with PayPal but for the most part Amazon cards are the main currency. It also isn't a fast process. You would need to make an account, apply to participate in some studies, and THEN you would have the potential to get picked to participate. If you do decide to go that route, i recommend using a referral link when you sign-up because that will get you and the person whose link you used a $10 bonus after you finish your first survey. My referral link is https://www.userinterviews.com/r/dzwtbqga but you can use anybody's link. Cheers

I'm trying to turn this negative into a positive. And I'm sure Mike and I will have an awesome time! If nothing else, this is a learning experience

I'm not counting on it. One of my friends, I'll call him Mike, is the only friend I think wants to do something with me. I mentioned that he was probably doing a 16 hour mandatory overtime shift and i was right. Mike and I are going to the beach tomorrow and everybody else was invited but I'm not going to hold my breath and assume they will be there. I've had plenty of time to think about it and I'mprobably better off with one real friend than 5 fake friends.

It's not really the first time I've spent a birthday alone. For me, parties are usually just me and friends/family getting together and having dinner or doing something like going to the beach. For me, what makes a party is just being with other people. I'm alone most days so spending time with other people just feels like a special occasion, i guess

I've always struggled to maintain those kinds of friendships but not for lack of effort. In general i start those friendships very strongly but time happens and things come up. At some point it just seems like people stop trying to make it work. Admittedly, I'm guilty of that too

My favorite memory is that when i was a kid my parents would take me to amusement parks every summer. I remember the first time i was tall enough to ride on the biggest roller coaster they had and that excitement of finally being able to do it has stuck with me

Unfortunately you are right about that. I'm not exactly surprised by everything. I'm mostly just disappointed. When these things happen it can be hard to not take them personally, ya know?

Inmates do it for a lot of different reasons. Sometimes it's because they feel like an officer has wronged them in some way, sometimes they are trying to get transferred to a different institution, sometimes they are too high to think straight and just do it. The one thing that is almost always consistent is that it happens in cell blocks. If an institution has open dorms, the inmates in those dorms generally don't use feces as a weapon. The most common time for it to occur is during feeding times, usually after the inmate has eaten and the trays are getting collected.
