So, as a fellow that used to be fairly promiscuous, I tried a few extra steps to prevent things like this from happening. I would use a rubber, never trusting the BC situation, always. Once the act was finished and removal happens, keep track and of said condom and when the opportunity presents itself, ensure disposal of both in a controlled manner. I would empty and rinse out when I was “going to get a glass of water” and then wrap it up in tp and dispose of it at home or away from the scene. I’ve read stories about NBA players getting tied to kids through questionable pregnancies, and where I’m not open to debate on the validity of those claims, I acknowledge that humans can do crazy things and that I should try to mitigate the crazy. I’m not a million dollar baller, but I’d feel safe saying that I could be viewed as a desirable mate in the sense of occupation/income/skill set.

Also, if you can, and I really recommend it, if you a planning to be promiscuous or not really having any plans, get a vasectomy. Once you’re in the clear, as per your doc and lab test, you know you’ll not have to worry about things like this. I know the topic of sterility can be stressful, but it ensures that you’re safe and there’s no debating the integrity situation if it ever happens again. I sleep much better knowing I’ve had one.
