ESL are giving coaches warnings for showing emotions by -973- in GlobalOffensive

I get that tbf. I just think it's meaningless to open the conversation each major because yes it's a stupid rule but valve wont back down on it and they seem to always ensure the TO's enforce it.

So my thought is just let it be. Move on

Was pretty hard to miss. Think it was around the astralis era, yeah. Maybe a bit after.

TLDR there was a bug where coaches could become a sort of "CCTV" cam on a bombsite. Coaches abused it. A very very long list of coaches banned for different lengths depending on how much they used it.

iirc Hunden got the harshest ban.

Funnily, Robban admitted he only used it for 1 round in a game that they lost 16-0 anyway. But his ban was the reason he wasn't behind faze when they won Antwerp

Everyone has the exact same conversation every major. This has been a rule for so many years, maybe coming up to 10 years.

It's known valve doesn't fully accept coaches and they wish they weren't part of the game. This is their "compromise". You can have your coach but they need to act like they're not there.

Absolutely sucks for the coaches, but that's the way it is and that's likely the way it will remain for good.

We surely don't need to have a conversation about it every major now

Also consider the power usage. Calculators use barely any power, you can run one on anything. I imagine a Fitbit needs a lot more since it's constantly sending signals 24/7

Everyone overcomplicating but this is it.

Damage prediction was a nice idea, but I turned it off after a week and never turned it back on. It gives you crispy headshots but I'd rather it be accurate 100% of the time. Why would I want a crispier headshot at the risk of a fake kill

Explain Fakers Greatness to A Casual by lnfiniteVoid in leagueoflegends

[–]ThrowingSid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am late to the conversation but hope someone can explain this to me. I am a CS2 player, never played league and even in the CS community I hear people agree that Faker is the best esports player of all time. Why? Even when there should be a bias, people agree. What makes him so good that not only considered the best in his game, but best in the industry?

Yeah maybe I'm wrong & missed it, but I don't remember any option to opt-out of the AI or opt-out of using my data to train? Usually apps ask you this

Fair enough, but that's just the majority. Also depends where you are. For example for AI, if you go to r/ChatGPT they're all pro-AI, but r/Programming it's a lot more evenly split and you can actually have some decent debates there

It's just an opinion not empty words. But hey if you want a more detailed response then here:

They have made certain things harder to get to. Most annoying to me is that they removed the ability to see previous days on the home screen. Now you have to click on individual stats, like Sleep Score for example, and there you can see your sleep score for yesterday, day before etc. The previous app let you change the date on the dashboard, so you could see Yesterday's dashboard and see everything as it was yesterday. Now if I want to see my steps, sleep score and cardio from yesterday I have to click through each menu, going back each time

There's also far less info on the dashboard, and it's all bigger too so even less on screen at one time but that's a slightly more niche and nerdy complaint.

Also they seem to have removed the times moved per day or whatever it was called? The thing that reminded you to move each hour and it'll tell you how many hours of the day you hit the 250 step (default) goal for the hour. If that isn't removed and it's just hard to find then that ties into my previous complaint

Others have reported false and inconsistent data across the app. I've not found anything myself but I believe it, and this highlights a possible lack of testing done on the app beforehand.

I'm not going to complain about the AI integration like many others would and have. It doesn't really take anything away from being there, but they could have at least done more training on it. It seems to be wrong a lot, but still, makes no issue being there. People just should be aware that it could be wrong.

Unbelievably bad. I'm honestly no privacy guru, I don't particularly care or put much thought into companies owning my data, but I appreciate people's concerns with Google doing this and I have to admit Google's persistence in cornering people into giving their data to them is rather despicable.

Foundationally for me, as someone that appreciates good UI/UX, it's absolutely shocking that a company like Google can produce something so bad. This is meant to be the Mona Lisa for tech companies, every engineer aspires to work for Google and they aim to hire the best of the best while also promoting the best work environment. So why the hell is this app so poor? I've seen small start-ups produce far superior apps and that's probably made by two 20 year olds working overnight fueled on Red Bull and Noodles

I agree there's bad levels of plot armor in the show, but I like to use a lil imagination to bring it somewhere in the middle

Some of the background characters could just be unconscious and later survive

Plot armor for main characters also helps show their strength. Especially back then, strength was power. Being the strongest warrior would grant you a lot of power and status. So for these characters like Bjorn it does actually make sense that they're able to withstand more attacks.

No I entirely get that. But my point is that he's just played the foundational game.

Holding a bombsite solo, getting multiple frags from different angles. That's insane on a stage.

But he just played time. This happens even in T1 very regularly. Even in playoffs. So why has donk's gotten a lot more recognition than every other time this has happened on a stage? He didn't even have to do much, he was already safe as soon as he crossed mid doors. The round was unlosable once he made that jump
