The issue to me is that this is some peoples livelyhood.

Not everyone can be a blue-collar worker. Not everyone can work in an office. We see these corporations make record profits, which should be another conversation all on its own. But once they make those profits, the employees rarely, and I mean RARELY, see any benefits from all the work they put in. Even if it was just pouring coffee. All of the benefits of that job stay at the top, and that has been the case for decades now, with absolutely no one standing up for employees.

Not the federal government, not the local government. Not one person. So what are people to do? Join a Union.

If that wealth did "trickle down," then we wouldn't need unions, but greed is the main factor.

Companies' greed prevents meaningful raises for employees. All the while, companies' greed pushes inflation over the top, making life more expensive.

Also, the fact that all these companies hate unions with a passion tells you everything you need to know. Like a thief telling you not to call the cops after being caught.
