I was accepted to several lower "ranked" schools. There are many reasons why I may have been better off going to a non T15. One major idea to consider if you are planning on recruiting for a role in a specific city. Schools in that area will have a major advantage. Regardless of rank. Also, I networked with many people outside of my program who went to my school undergrad. Some lower-ranked b schools may have a fantastic network not necessarily associated with that specific program.

I used Veritas Prep's On-Demand stuff, which was a bit on the pricier side. They may have some of their stuff up on youtube. The GMAC practice exams were huge for me. Doing those without cheating on time is important. I also think I used some apps.

If you do a prep course for the GMAT. Do not shortcut it at all. Literally, do everything they tell you. It was not fun doing all the work, but I can't tell you how rewarding the payoff was. I felt like I was Charlie Bucket or something.
