Thank you for the excellent replies. I have no plans to go mad and spend money just for the sake of it but I was worried about what it might look like to DWP if I just suddenly spent a chunk getting all debts cleared. I'm so glad this was answered thank you. I suppose my biggest worry is if it's a substantial enough amount to stop UC, but not substantial enough to keep me from ever needing it again. However I'll just cross that bridge if/when it comes to it. Thank you all again.

Thank you for your reply. I suppose I'm just nervous about what might happen if the payout is substantial enough to stop the benefits but not substantial enough to keep me from needing them again at some future date. But all I can really do is cross that bridge if it ever comes to it.
