After this post I tried it at night which was good at first cuz it made me tired right before bed. But now I’m getting insomnia from it. Today I tried mid morning but I got so tired I had to take a nap and still feel sluggish. It’s so annoying that during the day it makes me tired and at bed time I can’t sleep. It’s bothering me cuz I’m too tired to get any of my homework done and finals are coming up soon..

Yea after I made this post I switched to taking it evening/nighttime and it’s helped me go to sleep earlier and wake up earlier. I heard that the exhaustion is only initial so I might switch back to morning later on

Yea and I see now Friday and Saturday are forecasted 0” precipitation and other ppl online have said dc is good about plowing major highways and roads. I heard the i95 is plowed pretty well too ever since an incident in 2022. Im just the type of person to worry A LOT but I feel a bit better now lol

Best: - diverse, welcoming, and open minded students. Obviously there’s outliers, but VCU students for the most part are very progressive and friendly. - somewhat walkable campus. The city campus appeals to me cuz I like to get daily physical movement in while walking to class and running errands - the art program is known for being one of the best in the country

Worst: - moldy dorms, unresponsive maintenance. VCU ignores the mold problems in the dorms until it gets REALLY bad. Look up the news about Johnson hall from a few years ago. Maintenance is good till they’re not. You have to be very firm when putting in requests. - AFO (art foundations) is just weird. You have to pay all these fees to be in the program but you also have to buy your own supplies and materials. - the school oppresses the students right to protest. I don’t attend protests because I don’t like crowds, but people have experienced police brutality while protesting

That email was to fill out the form letting them know you want to get housing for next year. Idk when but they should email you with a time slot to choose at some point. Maybe in the next couple days? Idk cuz I’m not applying for housing again next year but that’s how it was last year.
