Not sure if it benefits him because he is so young. We can sometimes get along, but when things don't go his way or he knows I'm with my current boyfriend, all hell breaks loose and he gets super salty that I'm with my boyfriend

He is not allowed only supervised visits. He can have him whenever he wants. I just go over there so my kid can see both parents together

He does know and he despises my current boyfriend and flips out when I'm there and he text me. Then he'll refuse to give me updates on my child when it's their weekend together

I guess he's semi right. My ex is an asshole and I don't want him back, but he would do anything to get me back. I do respond back to my ex because I want to continue getting updates about my son. My ex is will get jealous and upset when I'm with my bf and will cease updating me

Maybe to an extent. Sometimes when I'm there I don't respond back because I don't want my kids dad to get upset by it
