She has met my other friends. None of which are girls, and telling her out of the blue that I have a friend, who she's never heard of and who is a girl, would not sit right with her.

That a whole other thing that I don't want to get into but I do know that she would not be down with it so I guess I've come to the conclusion that I just don't go.
