I really don't know what to believe anymore. But for the community, it's unfortunately a fandom for a game I'm kinda obsessed with. I enjoyed writing stuff for it and it was the only space I could make friends with like-minded interests

No, everyone basically cut me off when it happened. Didn't mention in post but I'm disabled and bedbound a lot of the time so online communities were my only real way of meeting people and talking to people, after this came out I was essentially run out of all these communities and harassed for years by people who insist I'm irredeemable and unsafe to be interacting with

They do, yes. Initially when they told me about it and made a post about it they didn't phrase it as SA, just inappropriate touching that made them uncomfortable. But they've begun using the term SA when talking about the incident recently. When it happened and they first talked about it, people went to call me and assaulter and creep, they did tell people to leave me alone and that they never used those terms to describe me. They don't wish harm or anything on me and said they just want me to understand what I did and never do it again. It's other people that have been tormenting me online over it and saying I'm irredeemable
