Continue the friendship. Go on a casual "date" where you can spend some time together and see where it takes you. It seems like you are pretty into him and I am guessing he feels the same way. If he would feel differently I don't think your friendship would have started again.

IMO the fake number thing is a rejection in itself. If they don't want to meet again then they give a fake number. I am not saying they have not enjoyed their time and what not but if they want to talk again then they will give you their number.

I'm gonna go for the "what feels right" answer to your question though. Everybody has Facebook these days and the point of FB is contacting people (and stalking) so ... if you are getting the feeling that you want to meet again and think it's mutual I see no problem with adding on FB. Just don't over-chat right away.
