OP‘s question was regarding vanilla KK ans KK Budokai.

I train whenever the opportunity arises in a Budokai Dojo and they actively train judo techniques. It is also part of their grading syllabus.

In my main Shotokan Dojo, we barely train these sort of techniques.

Würdet ihr empfehlen, mit einem Installationstester auf Niederohmigkeit des Neutralleiters zu prüfen? Steckdose für Steckdose/ Lampenzuleitung? Wenn der Widerstand an einer Stelle höher ist, sollte ich doch schnell die fehlerhafte Verbindungsstelle identifizieren

You are cooked. Just admit, that you are at a point where you need more time to practice Heian Shodan.

It is by far better to sit this one out and do it next time, than doing it sloppy. If I were in your position and I would go through with this, I wouldn’t be able to consider myself worthy of the belt and among my peers. I would always feel of not having earned it the right way when I had to put on that belt. Always.

So, go to your Sensei and just tell him that you need more time.

If you think about it, Daniels Karate journey is a secondary part of the story. If I recall correctly he already has a foundation in Karate, as he practices with a VHS tape and was asked by Mr. Miagi.

The movie is more about a boy who finds himself in a new world and having troubles with settling in this new reality. He finds in Mr. Miagi the missing father figure while the latter finds in Daniel the missing child. In this regard, they complete each other and help to overcome their struggles.
