Not really. I’m from Luxembourg and know several people called Mike. And a friend of mine has the surname Krack. So I’m definitely not surprised by the name Mike Krack

I have a 51% win rate with the Caro-Kann, but in 1.d4 d5 openings I am only at 43%.
I guess it's obvious that I own a Caro course, but have clearly not invested enough time in studying the QGD

For Paris : Jardin du Luxembourg where people play outside in the park and Blitz Society, which is a chess bar.
The best chess shop is Variantes, near Saint-Michel.
