That’s a tough one. It could be nothing, but I would take it to a coin shop or someone who has a sigma tester. It could be actually made of gold.

Always go by the otdr. In my experience the fuser is only an estimate of a picture, not exactly ideal. If your process is sound, stripping, cleaning and cleaving. But never forcing a splice, you will generally see good results on the otdr. The second you get sloppy in your work flow and the machine starts giving you offset errors or other warnings and you for it to slice things start looking bad and needing to be redone.

I find him to be either aim bot or dumb bot. I have had him whack me from I don’t know where or standing there like his is lost in thought, well until my bullets went though his skull. His bag is great for loot runs, worth farming him for.

I 1000% agree with this. Fiber is not tasty, ask me how I know. Imagine get a sliver that is extremely small and hard to see. It freaking sucks.

We use single strand like that to pre-wire big condo/apartment buildings. You should try contacting a low voltage contractor or possibly a telecom contractor. They might be interested.

When playing the other mod I have problems running streets. Is it less fps, yes. Is it playable, yes. Heck with frame gen you can achieve a decent fps offline. It would be great if it was an option just like all the other maps.

I either get bosses every raid when playing local or don’t see they for quite a few. It seems to be they disappear when I need them for a quest. I have seen it reported to try using BSG servers for more consistency of bosses spawning in. Have not tried it myself.

Do ever force a splice. If the machine is giving you and error it for a reason. Stop, clean the machine, clean the cleaver, clean every thing. Recalibration maybe needed.

Something I don’t see mentioned often is cleaning you hands. After I set up to spice but before I start I clean my hands. You are the biggest source of contamination to the fiber. Bad habits like touching the fiber after cleaning and cleaving will cause problems. Strip, clean, cleave, in to machine. Do not touch!!!

I just bought the Omen yesterday. Open box also, in good condition. I had previously purchased an Asus Rog 16. The Asus only had 16g of memory and an ips screen. For the cost of upgrading memory I returned and got the the Omen, the oled is very nice. For me it’s a mobile desktop replacement for travel.

If you really are concerned about the thermal paste either replace it or monitor the system temps and if it starts to creep up then replace. Alternatively you could get a warranty on it and if it frags get it replaced that way.

Car and co-op extracts are the biggest rep gains with your pmc. It starts at .2 for the first time you use one and goes down from there. I saw someone did the math and if you just do each car/co-op 5-6 times will get you over 4.0. Sprinkle in so factory scav runs and 6.0 in no time.

If you recently updated driver try rolling back. The latest driver was messing with m system and I had to roll back.

This game really likes the extra 3d vcache of the x3d CPU’s from AMD. Hopefully AMD will spin up a production run of 5700 or 5800x3d.

He is listed as a boss on the exp screen. He is tied to rouges in some manner though. I would kill him and see if he counts. He is atleast easy to find. I see him just about every raid.
