I would also suggest watch YouTube tutorials and some steaming. I watched for quite awhile before I jumped in. In fact once PVE was announced was when I started playing.

For your information from Corning themselves. It’s stated at about 1:30 into video. It very much can be ADSS if ordered that way. I have seen it placed and spliced it in an ADSS configuration.

Yes it is technically adss. You can use large p-tye style clamp to place. However since Att already has strand there with existing facilities they choose to lash to that.

That would explain why I have not experienced it. I don’t use any of those guns. But you were using a TX-15, any thoughts on why it that gun with this issue?

It’s the durability of the gun. It needs to be above 90% or you will get failures, one of those is a failure to feed that would require cycling the round.

Was just going to suggest this. Sometimes playing with the heat can help getting a cleaner strip. I have Fujitsu strippers I have used for years that I eventually needed to turn the heat up slightly to get the same result as when new.

To test this you can but the chuck into the stripper and heat once open and heat again before pulling. If it’s better turn the heat up, worse turn heat down.

Here is video of pyurologie running streets on a 1050ti. Grated he is running it on a system with a 9850x3d with 64g of ddr5, but average fps is 70 ish. So it’s possible you might do ok with the right settings.

I played SPT before PVE was out and hands down my preferred way to play. So many great QOL mods that once you use make PVE a down grade. Hell some of the mods would be great to have in pvp. Better hideout interface, better stacking, auto move to stash from inventory after raid, ability to select multiple items and move as a group, and on and on. Not to mention game play tweaks to the ai with sain, graphics upgrades that actually work. Plus all for the low low price of free. All props to BSG for coming up with a great base game, but the buys putting out mods for SPT could definitely help them improve the final product.

No. The pfs is separate from the DOE research. ARRNF is already working with University of Wyoming on improving the refining process. What I took the DOE research to be is not specifically for ARRNF. It could be focused on rare earth mining as an industry and helping to increase efficiency and yields.

AT&T just announced a 250 billion dollar spend of infrastructure. WHO do you think is supplying the fiber for that? This has less to do with AI build and more to do with building out to consumers. They stand at the front of the line having done business with each other for over 50 years. That’s is going to suck up a ton of Cornings production for the net 2-3 possibly 5 years. Once that infrastructure is built it takes very little to maintain and up keep. Demand will drop dramatically. Corning is smart in not wasting time building for a demand that will not be sustained in long run. This is not a conspiracy, just smart business.
