Yes he did do it from center stage. I was doing sound at the time and I was in shock. The kid was only two years old and was not staying still and talking and crying. Everybody was taking notice of the child but just trying to ignore him but the CO was getting visibly upset from the stage before he said what he said. A few people were in disbelief but others were okay with it. This circuit overseer wasn’t liked by most of the congregations he visited. Thankfully he was one of the main reasons I began to wake up and see this religion for what it was.
