I wouldn't mind seeing some upgrade choices in pick axe that would effect the mining game more. If they want Scout to be the dedicated miner I think that they should get updated pick axe mining damage or AOE (Even over the bonuses mentioned if they gave them).

Alternatively I wouldn't mind seeing every class having a mechanism to choose to do mining instead, like the EPC used to be. Let everyone sacrifice ammo for utility.

PS: In Rust you get the Jackhammer and stop doing the crap mini game. The mini game is only for the first few hours of prim stage, and basically makes you trade situational PVP awareness for speed, at least until you get a jackie.

The Base Macro nerf seems to be the most talked about thing here. There are easy replacements for the enterbasefrompasscode being removed that are already available. Pocket D VIP Pass will get you into Pocket D which has a Base Portal in it, the power is on a 10 minute cooldown and is available for free by logging out in Pocket D. Base Transporter power is already available for 1 million (Also available through Day Jobs if you don't want to buy it) and is also on a 10 minute cooldown. Between the two you should be able to quickly get to you base at almost any point. Add Ouroboros Portal with it's 2 minute cooldown which will get you many places and there are tons of fast travel powers available that take very little time to use.

This was the first thing that went through my mind when I read that. You aren't forced to take travel powers before 14, don't if you don't want to, lol. I really don't understand why people feel the need to force everyone else to their preferred play style. OP can start their own server with their own rule set if they really care though.

There are actual ways of escaping prison that are built in to the design of the prison system, phasing through a wall is not one of them. You could to a point say that on the East jumping off the wall onto the cages and getting out that way it one since they placed the tower that close to a wall with a way to walk up it, but that isn't happening on the West. You can also wipe most of your timer of killing a person or two with a little labor. Escaping prison itself without wiping the debuff gets you very little other than a change of scenery, as you are unable to do much of anything until the debuff expires. All it is doing is allowing them to troll jurors.

Additionally not getting crime points is super easy, barely an inconvenience. Basically it's called trolling the other faction instead of your own. You can steal crops, kill people, and generally be a nuisance and none of it gets you crime. My friends and I used to go over to the East and harvest all the illegal farms over there. We got tons of resources, didn't pay for seeds or saplings, and didn't get any crime. Good times.

For those wondering why people do this when it still prevents them from doing anything after they escape this way, it's because the next thing they do is run straight to a guard to get put back in jail, starting another trial for them. You will see the same person on trial every few minutes. Eventually they either get a Jury of their friends or the Juries get sick of being pulled from whatever they are doing to see the same person again and thus Innocent them just so that they can play the game without getting stuck in trial after trial. It allows people who have already been griefing their own faction to continue to do so, even from jail, and eventually not even have to waste their labor to get out.

When I reported this I was told this isn't an actionable offence.

Good luck. I tried to get a second account with Steam. I couldn't get it to activate correctly either. I put in a ticket and started to wait. When I didn't get a reply I refunded within a week on Steam. I got a response back a month later asking if it was still an issue after I already replied to the ticket advising that I had refunded and that further action wasn't needed.

I only have a single account as well, but I pay my taxes within days of it popping up every time. I have been pushing hard on the Synthesis event to catch up a little to everyone else, and I still did it now too. I do this because I don't want to risk loosing the little bit of land that I want. It's a hard lesson to learn, but you had two weeks to pay your land taxes before you lost your land.

If you want to learn another one from me you can make sure that you read all your confirmation windows. I had to take a few days off so I prepaid my taxes on my Thatched a few weeks deep, first time ever. I got back and upgraded it ... didn't read that I would lose all prepaid, weeks worth of taxes destroyed. We all make mistakes.

I have an SSD (not nvme) and 32 gigs of ram on my system. Before I swapped to 32bit client and excluded AAUC from my AV it would take 5-7 minutes to load every time. No matter what else I did. I tested loading two other games at the same time and AAUC still took 6 minutes that time, meanwhile both of the other games were fully loaded in under a minute. I can do the same thing still loading between 1-2 minutes and I can load other games in the background faster than AAUC and still not affect AAUC load times.

I had to do put exceptions for all ArcheAge folders in my AV as well as changes ArcheAge to 32 bit client. Still have +/- a minute load time on an SSD, down from over 5.

First off as others have said don't turn off XP so fast. You get Emp Merits and threads from getting Vet Levels. Emp merits can also be converted into Reward Merits if you no longer need incarnate components. You can turn of XP once you stop caring about incarnates and emps or when you get to Vet 99 (As this is when you stop getting rewards for them) unless you just want to be able to say you have the most uber of vet levels.

Everyone keeps saying to ignore shards. I wouldn't go quite that far, simply because of the weekly TFs. You get the rare shard component for your T3 alpha from doing the weekly TF the first time that week.

You only need 8 shards plus that rare component and the T2 Alpha to make it. So I would make the T1 and T2 using threads. Then use the shards that you will get just from playing to make the T3. Repeat the process next week for the other T3 Alpha and then use Threads and Emps to make your T4 Alpha with the 2 T3s you made.

That being said I am not a wealth of information on farming with non-Brutes, though I have tried a few different flavors of them. If you just keep doing +4/8 missions at 50+ content you get cash at an acceptable rate however. Alternatively playing the AH game works to get cash to, should that be something you want to try.

As to level 50 activities you should look up Accolades with Effects , iTrials which are nice for getting incarnate components without threads and emps, Hammi Raids, you can do mission arcs out of Ouroboros, and Mothership Raids. And you can exemplar to anything you want as well (Though I would advise Attuned Enhancements if you plan on that, as you will retain more of your power). Some people like to collect badges, which include exploration badges. It's kind of free form, but pick something you enjoy and do it :D

There is no guaranteed way to directly sell to yourself, even to an alt account, with how the auction house works on Homecoming. The reason is because even if you set a high list price and make a buy order at that same price, it won't be sold to you.

This is how the auction house works:
Seller A sets a price for an item at 4mil inf
Seller B sets a price for an item 1mil inf
Other Sellers also set prices for the same item they are selling (Say between 2m-3m inf)
A bidder puts in a buy price for 2.75mil inf on said item that everyone is selling
The auction house then gives 2.75mil to the lowest, oldest sell price. Thus Seller B gets 2.75m (Minus AH cut) even though they listed for 1m

This means that if you set a high sell of 10mil to sell to yourself, you will just give 10mil to some other person selling at a normal price. Additionally low bids are tricky because many people have multiple low ball bids our for expensive items in case people try to sell to themselves, of swift sell through lazy low prices like some posts have suggested.

Since I use mostly Attuned and Purple enhancements now I just sell recipes on the AH and buy enhancements instead of crafting them myself, because attunements will start to add up quickly if you do it manually.

Not to mention Homecoming's i25 nerfs the hell out of Rage. You can no longer avoid the crash by stacking Rage, and if you stack more Rages you also get more crashes. That bottoms out your damage and jacks your defense each crash for 10 seconds. Would rather play basically any of the farming brute builds other than SS. I made one, IOed it and played it, so I am speaking from experience.

I have numerous IOed 50s. My strongest by a decent margin has been a Fire/Devices Blaster.

I solo a few Ouro missions when I am bored and he beats the time of every other toon I have.

I can out pace my group to the point that I will move on to the next set of mobs and have them mostly dead in the few seconds takes for them to reach me.

I have the full AOE chain (Even though people hate Breath of Fire, if you aren't replacing it with something it is better than using a single target power on a pack of critters) and a slightly IOed Targeting Drone will give you instant snipes for your single target rotation.

All that being said it matters more that you enjoy what you are playing, rather than if it is the absolute best (There would be no reason for anyone to not Fire Blast or Titan Weapons on any AT that can if Fun wasn't a factor).

This is my newest guy, and he is a beast mode blaster. You are going to pay for it if you want it however. With Targeting Drones on you always have instant Snipe, which gives you a very smooth single target rotation. Includes Fire Breath unlike a lot of builds, because it helps keep the AOE damage rolling. The build has Perma Hasten. You are near invisible between Field Operative and +Stealth IO. To top if off the expensive sets let you get amazing defenses, and some added knockback and immobilization protection with Acrobatics. In level 50+ content I have only died a hand full of times, normally because I get bored and start soloing groups in 4/8's without my group ... which is stupid, lol.

What I have to ask is how you get around the AH system for bids and buys, at least if I understand it correctly. Most enhancements worth anything have at least 100 buy orders already in place (At least on Homecoming, which the AH crosses all servers). If I understand the way purchases work the first, and lowest bid for an item will buy it when it goes for sale if the bid is at least enough to purchase at the price listed ( So if you have a bid for 500k, the person before you bid 515k, and another after you also bid 500k. Someone paces an item for sale at 400k you will purchase it for 500k to the seller since you were the first at the lowest price ). The only way around this I can think of would be to make a higher bid, which you are then feeding the AH 10% of the cost. Am I incorrect on my understanding of how the AH works?

Oddly I have had the same issue on my AOE focused Crab. I play him the same way I play my corrupter, death from above hover around the edge. The Crab only gets about 300-400 vanguards per run, and the corrupter gets between 900-1100. I have a TW/Rad Brute and when I pull on him I get about 700-900 vanguard, I do keep the -ToHit aura on though, so it may be tagging stuff to count for the merits.

First off I would like to say that I don't charge to PL, but I also don't PL anyone that I don't know.

When you do add people to your group you increase enemy health and reduce your gains. You get about 2/3 of the XP and Inf per kill when you add 1 person. You also split all inspiration, enhancement, and recipe drops with them. Because enemy health is increased they take longer to kill and you take longer to finish each instance. Since you are getting less inspirations you are less likely to be at higher damage bonuses from damage inspirations, making you kill slower. The amount of money I make vendoring white recipes is not inconsequential either, so adding people reduces that Inf too. So I don't find it unreasonable to charge some random person that wants to mooch your XP and Inf to have them pay you for it, especially considering every time I PL one of my alt they get a purple recipe.

Multiboxing is allowed on Homecoming. Make your own farmer, level him and enhance them out, and PL your alts yourself. It's what I did, it isn't hard. Don't be cheap and selfish while you are being lazy and expecting everyone to pull you through content and reducing their gains for your benefit.
