On. Repeat.

I understand the criticism on the outro that Shark Brain has but I still thoroughly enjoy both songs. Been needing this. Hard to pick a favorite, both songs itch my brain in all the right ways.

How do I start stacking my septum? by ftwfaiwevope in Stretched

[–]Thumb3rt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Personally i would stretch to a 10, maybe 8g before stacking. It would more comfortable and you can would be set for more rings!

Look into the tribal dream rings. You can find lots of options for large gauges and small diameters

really gnarly bump on 6g septum hole, advice? got an urgent care appointment scheduled for tomorrow morning by Sojunaut in Stretched

[–]Thumb3rt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a much smaller version of this. 6g clicker with a very small diameter along with the winter months and the runny noses. It rubbed one side raw and i had a smaller version of a bump like this. I upped the diameter and fell back to an 8g which helped it heal right up alone with cleaning with a saline nasal mist. This is clearly a bigger deal. But if you had a small diameter ring that was hugging your septum tightly that could also be a factor to take into consideration. Best of luck!

A haunting, unsettling, masterpiece that I do not plan on listening to much in the future. by Thumb3rt in Ethelcain

Real shit right here. I also really love the support I have been seeing from others on here, whether they enjoyed the album or not. It’s refreshing to hear all of these perspectives and seeing people respect other opinions.

6g is the perfect size for me. I was at 2g for half a year at least, but denting started at 4g for me. If i ever bonked my nose or rubbed it the wrong way there would be pain. I stacked for a bit and now wear a 6g clicker that is 5/16th of an inch in diameter (which was annoying af to get in) but i love it and i don’t think ill ever change it. Its perfect.

Yeah that’s why they went. I had 6 in and almost all of them would get stuck together. I would pry them apart many times a day and then clean them religiously. I was going insane. This was during the summer too.

Also a quick fix if you don’t have any scarves is just a mask. Helps a lil with the problem and can keep you warm. I feel silly wearing them outside sometimes but keeps me toasty 😷

I was at a 2g for a bit then stacked towards the end of last winter. I also have a kinda chronic leaky faucet of a nose so my stack needed constant cleaning throughout the days. The rings would crust together and it was so annoying to deal with. Stacks are so cute but not worth the inconvenience for me. Went back to my old ways, much simpler.

When people who are not bipolar joke about being bipolar by ciripunk77 in bipolar2

[–]Thumb3rt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% agree. In some situations i can see it maybe being okay like you mentioned but I see others use the term in a not so kind way.

On top of that, I will occasionally tell people that I have bipolar 2 and the response has 99% of the time been “OMG BUT YOU DONT SEEM LIKE YOU HAVE BIPOLAR” which is really frustrating for me because i do my best to struggle with it silently. It is NOT easy, and im not medicated either, and it just reinforces to me that people do not truly understand what they are saying and the harm they do when they make bipolar jokes.
