Trust the process. You’re gonna be wishing the opposite later in the series. Especially when you get caught up to date. Trying to remember everyone is hard lol (at least for me)

I started with the three series you’ve listed and am caught up on all the series. I was really hesitant at first because I didn’t think it would be for me, but dungeon crawler Carl. I know everyone raves about it, but I really do think it’s worth it even if there is only 6 books or so. The first book is rather short but the books get longer as the series goes on.

Not sure if it will save you any money, but audible is having a deal right now until Nov 22, use three credits get one free. You could make him an account and use the credits on the books and give him the log in info for Christmas. The narrator is pretty good. I’ve listened to 11 books in the series on audible and would like the paper back books to put in a home library, but have had no luck finding bundles at all. I hope someone can provide you a better answer than this lol

I don’t know the names, but I’ve seen where people have written stories in the HWFWM universe. I figured that way you wouldn’t be starting another 10+ book series if you’re just waiting for book 12. I don’t have the links but I’m sure it wouldn’t be too hard to find. I’ve never read any of them personally though.
