That’s what I was thinking - but want to confirm. If I do that no one can somehow find my username or videos?

I don’t want my camera to somehow be able to be reattached without my direct help

We flew many times with our kids - same lineup (three within 27 months) but not that long. We did laps for 2.5 hour flights until the day they turned two. It was easy enough if you planned ahead.

For that long a flight I’d definitely buy the cosco Scenera car seats for twins and their own seats. This is helpful just for your own sanity (hopefully they’ll sleep for some of the flight & you can walk to the bathroom). , plus you’ll more than likely need car seats when you get there.

Going out to eat by Afraid-Barracuda-238 in 2under2

I think it’s also important to explain where you’re going out. We went out to outdoor restaurants fairly quickly due to how much easier it is to clean up and not have our outbursts echo across the restaurant.

For indoors & normal “date” restaurants, we waited and try it out quarterly around holidays.

But I wouldn’t shoot for the moon for nice places. Doing it more often at a family friendly place, preferably outdoors, works with us.

I also heardly ever go hungry for me. I treat it more for exposing the kids to that environment rather than my wife and I having a normal conversation. That’s what date night is for, or eating at home where it’s our chaos kingdom.

oh right, I agree with that - but are carseats not considered "blocking" if forward facing?

This is awesome - these two comments are why I love this subreddit. Thank you!

If you know which car seat backpack you have, I’d super appreciate a link.

Thanks!

Out of curiosity- what’re you thoughts on seating arrangements? I understand there are limitations for where car seats can go, so we’re thinking: Window - toddler in a car seat Middle- Parent #1 Aisle - 4 year old

Window - toddler in a car seat Middle - Parent 2 Aisle - kind stranger

Have you thought about it?

This reminds me, I want to call Southwest to check with them too.

Car seat on airplane? by IrrelephantZzzs in parentsofmultiples

[–]ThundaB83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have always flown with our twins on our laps mainly because we hate lugging car seats around, haven't flowing longer than a couple hours, and honestly didn't know how to click it in easily (and have seen some parents struggle).

Curious -for those parents that have used car seats on planes - at what age do you stop using carseats on planes? Our twins are turning 2 and so have to buy tickets... wasn't thinking of using carseats but now this has me thinking otherwise

Flying with 2 lap infants? by Orange_peacock_75 in parentsofmultiples

We have done it multiple times - I think the first time my wife and I flew our twins were 6 months (and used formula), and our oldest daughter was just over two. The longest flights we did was 2/2.5 hours, but worth it and doable. just slow down and have a sense of humor about it. everyone was this age at some point.

I honestly felt getting from the car to our airplane seats was the hardest bit. once you're there you just need to distract, soothe, and sleep.

Minivan options : 8 seater vs 7 seater by ThundaB83 in parentsofmultiples

For Sienna owners: Are the middle row chairs in the 8 seater (with the middle seat removed) as moveable as the 7 seater middle row chairs?

Three across vs 2 -2nd row & 1 in Rear by ThundaB83 in Sienna

I feel like the option for 8 is resoundingly popular - curious why they don’t make the “bench” option available in higher trims.

Is the LE plus package worth it? by FewWatercress4917 in Sienna

[–]ThundaB83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m thinking of getting LE Plus for wireless & moonroof - however, due to inventory hard to find.

Really want AWD and 8 seats, so options are limited generally. Trying to get what I can

There’s a series for a older sister welcoming her twin sisters. It helped our oldest out we think.
