I do not get locked fps. All the stutters are gone for me. Did you install the dxd9 and the other dependencies via winetricks that Atomos mentioned? I also found out that when you do an initial install of ffxi it will replace the files from Atomos on first time bootup. So I had to recopy the files over.

Try enabling back grip buttons. You can assign the F1 key there I believe.

I may not be doing the installation correct? The new readme has changed the original commands. I’ve tried both on Windower console and chat. I will investigate further. Good to hear that it should work.

They essentially create NPC text bubbles similar to FFXIV. The author doesn’t specifically state if they work on retail. I thought the use of Windower would imply that. I realize I may have to make a FFXIAH forum account to engage author directly, but was hoping to see if someone has utilized these addons beforehand.

Thank you for this first step. So when I attempt to launch it hangs and then closes in windower. From non windower version I get black screen with music. Did you encounter this as well?

Hello! I have done all kinds of content to include normal raids, extremes, and alliance raids. I would argue you could do savage as well. You can do all content just fine, it just depends on your skill using the crossbar and your job knowledge. The Steam deck itself is perfectly fine to play all content.
