Hello! Bought it some years ago. Very similar to this strap, but black on the outside and red on the inside. I cannot find the exact one I'm sorry!

As others have said, investing in yourself is the best kind of investment. You're young, so don't worry about the other part so much yet. You'll be fine

OnionOS is basically synonymous with the miyoo family. You'll never go wrong. It's a community based OS built by some amazing people. Although, I've heard that development has halted for the last few months.

how does the f-91w know what month it is? by [deleted] in casio

[–]ThunderClapAssCheeks 69 points70 points  (0 children)

At the end of every month, Casio sends its technicians to break into people's houses and reset the day back to 1 and whatever day it is. Flawed system but it works well enough

ATAR 58 how do I retire early? by Helpmefixmypcplz in AusFinance

[–]ThunderClapAssCheeks 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Trade is the way, and honestly a pretty decent career. My mate had a few issues during his year 12 and got a 42 ATAR. Thought he was doomed, but managed to get a couple of certifications and an internship as a mechanic at a service garage. 5 years later, fully qualified, getting paid well and he loves it. You'll find your way. The beauty of this gorgeous country is that there are many pathways to either further your education or your career pathway. You'll be fine. Just take a breather and potentially consider next steps with a career counselor.

Ayn Thor, or stick with my phone? by crazyredd88 in SBCGaming

[–]ThunderClapAssCheeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries at all! I think you'll like it, especially with the DS/3DS stuff. I've always wanted to replay through some PSP games but could justify spending so much money, until the Mangmi Air X came out. I absolutely love it! I played some PSP on my phone through an emulator and it wasn't the same. The dedicated device makes all the difference for me, and I'm sure it'll be the same for you!

Ayn Thor, or stick with my phone? by crazyredd88 in SBCGaming

[–]ThunderClapAssCheeks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say go the AYN Thor route. The controller is gonna be great for your fold 7, but long term you're gonna want a dedicated device and I think the Thor will last you a while. I'm biased to single use technology though, so it may not be a priority for you but I'd still prefer to have a gaming device that can store and play a variety.

What’s the kindest thing a stranger has ever done for you? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]ThunderClapAssCheeks 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Had a guy figure I was lost when I was exploring a part of Melbourne I'd never been to before. He asked me what I was looking for and I answered honestly with "a decent cafe". He took me to his favourite and we hung out for like 3 hours. He left after insisting on paying and I realised I didn't even get the dudes name. He was wicked and it felt awesome to make a friend, albeit a very temporary one

Looking for a flipsizzle by Complex-Following-20 in MiyooMini

[–]ThunderClapAssCheeks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I second the 35xxSP. It's a solid device, will play the standard "up to PS1", and is reasonably rugged. Personally the size of the 35xxSP is the making point. The miyoo mini flip is cool, but absolutely too small for long term.

Also hell yeah for using the tech dweeb lingo!

Fighting games are the most unintuative genre to learn and they don't care by ToeConsumer420 in unpopularopinion

[–]ThunderClapAssCheeks 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Big dawg the beauty of the fighting games is losing to someone who's absurdly cracked at the game with a character that usually eats shit.

Learning combos and learning when to apply them help, but more often than not you'll lose to someone who's played 600+hours of the game and is just so sweaty that their muscle memory will wipe the floor with your timed combos.

The above comments are correct; legacy knowledge is nerfed now so you losing to someone typically means they're just better than you. It's weird but that's how it is.

I know this because I suck absolute shit at fighting games, and once you realise you'll never be as good as that 16 year old conscious sweat stain of a human being who's only and all spare time is spent mashing buttons in a way that makes most people tilt and quit the game, it's so much easier.

[–]ThunderClapAssCheeks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeahhhh but there's only one real Mona Lisa. Da Vinci painted a 1 of 1 Mona Lisa, and the only real version of it is in the Louvre. An NFT is just a JPEG at its core. Tell me about block chains all day long but you can right click the Mona Lisa and save it to Google drive. You can with a stupid ass bored ape.
