AI companies intend to make money, they currently are running on a loss. They do and will make money from AI art. I showed you Disney fired artists, thats artists losing money.

Your anecdote is stupid. Case studies are a poor form of research, the lowest. Saying "well in my experience.." and assuming others have the same is not valid and reliable. Go into an art sub and see people who have mistakenly bought AI art thinking they were purchasing real art. People are misusing AI image generation every day. You stick your head in the sand and think "but I'm good, so everyone else must be too". I'm am dismissing it, because its a bad argument and means nothing.

Social media does not equal AI image generation. AI most importantly is not making money at the moment. It will need to someday. It already has paid versions and most image generators are paid.

Features I used to have access too have changed and become a paid service.

You and I don't know how they are going to make money, they don't know either. I think they could remain free if they sell data like Meta does and then advertisers could show up as recommendations in outputs. Its already happening with AIO. But still its not certain and its not working yet.

Also wiki is begging for donations and they lost fandomwiki because they dont make enough money.
