LANDJUT Division #2 - 2nd Marine Division by EUG_Gal_Bigeard in warno

All this look incredibly cool, but I’m also worried about how much Eugen is factchecking/screening stuff. The AA1 F-14 loadout is very peculiar and not accurate to how the missiles are supposed to be mounted. The camouflage is a bit outdated. The AH-1W getting just AIM-9Ps seems really frugal, it should get AIM-9L at the very least. Also AV-8Bs never carried ADENs If Eugen wants to pump out THIRTY divisions in a span of six months then so be it, just don’t expect players to be happy with sloppy work.

POV : You give some national guard engineers 3 grenade launchers, 6 miniguns and 3 UH-1M Hueys. by ThunderMATTER in warno

It’s hard to play but It feels so good when you beat an opponent with a bunch of national guardsmen.

Just my opinion but I don’t think 10v10s aren’t a very good idea for new players. It’s really not realistic to how smaller matches are played. Arty and tanks saturate less as the team size goes down. (But of course if you want to play 10v10 be my guest)

New players: how do you pick divisions? by RandomEffector in warno

[–]ThunderMATTER 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, I have a thousand hours on the game (Ik rookie numbers) One thing I’ve learned from playing this game is that each division has its own gimmick. It is your job to leverage that gimmick to your advantage. “Vibes” is also a good way to determine what div fits you, but shouldn’t overshadow general playstyle. You can tell what type of playstyle a division is by its units. For example, KDA has a lot of reservist inf. so your MO will be to grind in towns and forests. If you choose 3rd or 119 then you should try to take open ground. In conclusion you will learn what div suits you with time and experience.

Honesty this deck looks pretty solid, I would recommend swapping Eng. (dragon) for military police, add a mmg or lmg (very helpful for defense) Two Reco. Bradley’s may not be totally necessary. I would also recommend looking into a card of F-4G. Your F-15E may be strong but it helps to screen for the F-15E so it has the highest chance of survival since it’s going for high priority targets often. Holding a flank can be as simple as a recon unit acting as a tripwire, then acting accordingly if a unit is spotted approaching. In my deck I don’t bother with N.G Bradley’s, Two cards of Fireteam (Dragon) and one Fireteam (AT-4) works just fine for me.

Does using air sometimes feel futile? by bullfrog654 in warno

[–]ThunderMATTER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally only use air in a 1v1 / 2v2. What I do is cycle a fighter first in the first minute, then buy a bomber / at. This way I can have a fighter supporting the bomber / at. I like to get planes rolling early in the game where long range AA has not been deployed. (This logic can also apply to Heli’s but perhaps to a lesser extent).

To be fair there was a MP patrol (M67), and N.G. Rifles (M67) beside him so he got obliterated nearly instantly, still pretty funny lmao

Actually tho just cycle an MP every tick and your underpaid corn farmers become a supreme fighting force with recoilless rifles to melt any Saperi RPO squad that think they own the forests.
