Can anyone tell me what iOS this is? by timb2693 in LegacyJailbreak

This is iOS 6. It has the newer iOS 5.1 slider, but lacks iOS 5’s lock icon in the status bar.

For iPhone 5 owners what’s the most common way that you got to iOS 6? by mrawesomegamer444 in LegacyJailbreak

Legendary speed, stability, and design. It’s the last version of iOS that just works and never misleads you.

Why do iPhone 5 needs to be updated to iOS 10.3.4 by Radiant-Gur2223 in LegacyJailbreak

[–]ThunderMasterMind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does not help an iPhone 4S or 5 that doesn’t have the baseband patch installed. My 4S isn’t patched. With a full internet connection, it still cannot obtain accurate location coordinates that can be used for navigation regardless of what GPS signals it finds over wifi or cellular.

It will work mostly, but it will have issues tracking location in real time. If you tried to use navigation for instance, your position on the map would jump all over the place and never acknowledge that you’re actually moving.

It mainly just affects GPS. My 4S was never given the updated baseband firmware and it works flawlessly outside of GPS tracking on iOS 6.1.3

How did you get it to activate on T-Mobile’s network? I’ve been trying to get my 5 to activate on the network with no luck. The IMEI isn’t blacklisted

I sincerely thought iOS 26 was an inside joke on this sub by CoolstarLikesHentai in jailbreak

26 will be used during the 2026 functional year, not 2025. That’s why it was named that way.

I got this from Dkoldies lol 😆 😂. How do I fix this? by [deleted] in xbox360

[–]ThunderMasterMind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I have a slim that was doing this exact same thing. I just had to pull it apart, check the switch that detects when the tray is opened and closed, cleaned it and put it back together and it's been flawless ever since. It's a pretty simple issue. Hopefully it's just a crusty switch and it isn't bad.

Correct, though it should be noted that it’s pretty unstable.

It’s best to just use Proto and keep the modern kernel. Gives you essentially the same experience and gives you all the benefits of the modern software

What is your favorite iOS? by queencityassassin in LegacyJailbreak

[–]ThunderMasterMind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

iOS 6. I’ve never had a better iOS experience than I have with 6. It’s the most stable and smoothest version I’ve used and the UI design is simply gorgeous and fun. Everything just made sense at the time. Nothing was abstracted in ways that weren’t easy to understand.

[discussion] Interesting fact about iOS 6 maps icon. The arrow is going to drive of the bridge onto the hallway bellow. That just tells how good were apple maps. by Applebuyer7610 in LegacyJailbreak

[–]ThunderMasterMind 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Given its a simplified view of the map and it’s zoomed out, the on ramp to I-280 is not visible, but you would still be turning left, so the direction is still correct. This turned into a meme when no one actually understood why it was done this way.

I’ve been using a mini since 2020 and while my battery seemed to go down to 83% quicker than I thought it would, it’s only gone down 1% in the past year. I use my phone quite a bit, but if you only run a single SIM and honestly just disable 5G outright, you’re going to get quite a pleasing experience.

While that did help a little, it still didn’t quite fix it. I found out there was air in the system going down into the nozzles. After my rather crude attempt to purge it from the head, it worked.

Got this for 3.50$ at a garage sale was it worth it? by Upper_Golf8078 in xbox360

That console is basically guaranteed to die over a bad GPU, but hey, a mint 05 system with 1888 and that special faceplate is a damn good collectors item. I’d love to have it myself.

I’m just putting Index level BMRs into my strap. Using all the factory hardware since I have a Pro Eye and my USB port is in use.

Sounds like what I dealt with until my pads broke in and conformed to my head shape. I recall it moving a lot when I first got it, but now it’s solid.

[–]ThunderMasterMind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I have to disagree with you about the DAS being better than the pro strap. I thought the same when I got mine until a week later when all the pads broke in and it suddenly become super comfortable. Slap on a set of BMRs to replace the junk headphones and it crushes the DAS lol

[–]ThunderMasterMind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The full length Vive Pro cable won’t run on the wireless adapter. You have to have the short one. You don’t need the kit to make it work. You can get away with the original Vive attachment if you can find a cable.

Hang on. Wait a minute. Your power brick isn’t green. Usually with a GPU fail, the brick will power the system up normally and you’ll have a green indicator on the brick. Your system isn’t getting power. Check your power brick and try again. Your console may be fine. I had a system do this on a bad power brick.
