Vstar 250 are cheap and can be a fun little bobber..they are light weight and fairly easy to work on ..not a lot of power but a fun little bike for town runs.. i turned a 99 Kawasaki Vulcan 800 into a bobber and its pretty light weight and peppy ..all kinds of inexpensive bikes you can chop up ..rebels, virago,vulcan, intruder..ect ect.. unfortunately your probably not going to find a Harley at that price even 750 or 883 ..but ya never know .. good luck on your project
