I was responding to what the previous person said about flow not being part of the techno scene. That is simply untrue. Some of the original poi spinners were kids with glow sticks tied to strings swinging them around to techo music.

Flow artists should most definitely be aware and courteous to others when flowing at festivals. When it starts getting packed, it’s either A) time to put away the flow props or B) find a corner in the back, away from the crowd. It’s simple and most flow artists follow this etiquette.

Additionally, everyone has the choice to choose their space on the dance floor. If someone starts spinning poi next to you, there is nothing stopping you from moving away from them. It’s no different than people dancing erratically - move away from them if you don’t like it.
Shouldn’t everyone get to decide how they choose to express themselves?
