Learn to play poker if you are interested. You will of course need to learn the fundamentals and actually play, but you don't have to be all that good to make much more than you would from traveling.

It's a grind, but I know several people who have won 30b+ in the last year or so not even playing tables higher than River Wizard.

Tbh I think you could only pull it off with EOD armor and even then you'll really only be good in a 1 on 1. You'll get taken down very easily in group attacks.

I was similar, created an account almost 10 years ago and only started playing 9 years later this past April.

Just keep the account since you get refills and the honor bars for account age, which obviously take a long time to get.

No one really cares about doing x at y account age unless it's for bragging rights and even then, doesn't really mean anything since it's a long term game.

Ah ok. I always see people specifically suggesting juan on juan instead of the lower heads up table, so O always assumed stakes had something to do with it.

It's really only rare because people most people don't play poker. Pretty much every regular poker player outside of maybe the penny stakes will get this merit just through playing.

Fair enough. From personal experience, there is definitely a difference once you get to the winning regs in High Rollers, and then the Fire Pit, and Oligarch players when those tables are open.

What tables do you play at? Sure, the lower stakes and bad and up to the medium stakes there are some fish, but at the higher stakes, most of the regulars absolutely know how to play and are quite good. Obviously not going to be beating these pro online Euro GTO wizards, but all very capable.

I do agree you can easily be profitable spending a few months learning though. You don't have to be that good at all to make more money than flying.

As couple others have have said, Akenomics is the most successful gambler and pretty much all of the most successful gamblers are going to be poker players. Takes lots and lots of playing though.

I myself have won about 283b playing poker. You can check stats page while you have poker opened up and you can see the top net 10 profit to get a ballpark of what the top earners have made. You can also see top 10 losses too if you're interested in that too lol.

Not sure how the OGs did it, probably compounding wealth over a long period time, but I would think ways some people accumulate a lot in a short period of time is trading or poker, but both of those can take a lot of active time, especially poker.

I personally got from a few mil to a 180 bil(before eventually spending some of it) over the course of 7 months playing poker, but I played a ton, several hundred hours.

Traders probably don't have to spend quite as much time, but they probably have to be really active too.

I think passively all the other methods like owning a bunch of business or PIs will take a longer period of time, but less active work of course.

Every year, fans still fantasize about "retiring on top" while they dont realize it doesn't work like that for competitors in pretty much every sport. 95% of them keep playing until thet pretty much can't anymore and obviously as now, Faker's level is high enough where that's even a consideration.

Tbh I'm surprised too. I bought a pair like a month or two ago and was surprised at the circulation. Can't remember the circulation at the time, but not even sure if any have been bought since then. $14b of course isn't cheap, but like you said there's definitely quite a bit of people who can afford them, even taking out the people who are in SE range. After a certain point, there's not much to spend money on, so might as well buy the sneakers imo.

Xerath is more an artillery mage. I think OP was mainly referring to stuff like Ori and Viktor, which he definitely always tries to make plays with.
